Project Management Summit Ankara, 2017

PMI Turkey Chapter organizes two Project Management Summits every year, one in Ankara and one in İstanbul. This year the Summit took place in Ankara, Turkey, on the 23rd and 24th of May, put emphasis on the Human Factor in Project Management and brought the project management professionals to discuss and share experiences on human-focused topics such as Talent Management, Teamwork, Motivation, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Coaching, Leadership, Delegation, Human Resources Management and so on.

International speakers included PMI’s Immediate Past Chair Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez, PMI’s past board members Steve DelGrosso and Deena Gordon Parla, president of the PMI-Metrolina chapter Jennifer Baker, Kevin Ciccotti, and Dave Harbath.

In addition to Levent Erkan, the summit hosted top executives like CEO of CCN Investment Holding Murad Bayar, CEO of Selex Turkey Sinan Senol, CEO of Meteksan Defence Co. Tunc Batum, Business Development and Project Management Director of Turksat Co. Omer Faruk Colluoglu and 20 other valuable speakers.

In the panel where Levent Erkan had participated as a moderator, Microsoft Turkey Accessibility Team, comprised mostly of visually impaired people gave information about the project they have prepared aimed at enabling all visually impaired in Turkey to easily access audio and text books online or offline: “MyLibrary”
